We are delighted to announce that the Global Geospatial Conference 2012 will bring together the 14th GEOIDE Annual Scientific Conference, GSDI World Conference (GSDI 13), Canadian Geomatics Conference (CGC 2012), and the 7th 3D GeoInfo Conference, which will take place at the Convention Centre in Quebec City, Canada from May 14-17, 2012. We are looking forward to seeing you at this exciting international conference. Primary partners in organizing this conference include the GSDI Association and GEOIDE Network.

There are three major themes in this conference:

  • Spatially Enabling Government, Industry and Citizens;
  • Benefits to society during 14 years of GEOIDE Network and;
  • 3D modeling of Geospatial Data.

Geographic information technologies and spatial data infrastructure play critical roles in allowing governments, local communities, non-government organizations, the industry sector, the academic community and common people to make progress in addressing many of the world's most pressing problems.

This conference will explore the complementary roles of government, private industry and the academic community in realizing better means for sharing geographic data and technologies and developing improved location-based services for meeting real world needs.

Numerous opportunities for oral presentations and refereed and non-refereed publication outlets are available:
