Welcome on the GSS website.

Every year, the GEOIDE Network offers students and professionals opportunities to expand their knowledge by taking part in GEOIDE Summer School for a week-long period.

The main goals of GEOIDE Summer School are to :

  • Encourage and initiate networking and collaboration among and between students at a national and international level.
  • Provide specialized training in Geomatics to graduate students and professionals.
  • Promote education in different concrete Geomatics applications.
  • Initiate collaboration between students' research and promote/foster interdisciplinary study.
  • Create links between students' research and their applications in the industry.
  • Address some actual concerns in Geomatics.
  • Offer an opportunity for sharing views and visions on Geomatics.
  • Promote the GEOIDE Network outside its member base.
  • Have fun!
A Participant Testimonial

"The GEOIDE Summer School is a fantastic opportunity for future leaders in geomatics to meet and forge links in a challenging academic atmosphere. Who knows when I'll see my GEOIDE friends again, but I look forward to working with them in the future!"

Former International Participant
